How much does Ligyo cost?
Ligyo is currently in public beta and fully free of charge for every user. No credit card is required. At the end of the beta, paid subscription plans will be activated starting at €5 per month. Every registered user will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance. Users who do not subscribe will not be charged and will keep read-only access to their archive plus a free full export (GEDCOM file and media).
Where is Ligyo's data hosted?
User data is stored on Supabase in eu-west-3 (Paris). AI inference uses Mistral, hosted in France. Error monitoring uses Sentry, hosted in Germany. All processing happens within the European Union.
Does Ligyo use user data to train AI?
No. User data is never used to train any model. Queries sent to Mistral are used only to produce the immediate response and are not retained by the model provider.
Does Ligyo comply with GDPR?
Yes. Ligyo implements right to access, right to deletion, and right to data portability. Users can export their full archive as JSON and permanently delete their account from the app settings.
